Raider head coach John Madden has never has a losing season since taking over in 1969. In his eight seasons Madden has won 83 games against only 22 losses and 7 ties for a winning percentage of .790 and seven Western Division Championships, including the last five in a row.
On January 9, 1977, in Pasadena's famous rose Bowl, Coach madden and these warriors in Silver and Black added a crowning glory to the Raiders already unrivaled level of excellence with an awesome triumph in Super Bowl XI.
Now the Oakland Raider organization, number one for so many years, stands alone as the World Champions of Professional Football.
