Art Pendragon, owner of the Keystone Ranch, has called a special meeting of the ranchers in the district to address the problem of rustling. The gang is operating out of the fortified Gorre Valley, an almost impenetrable area. When the rustlers raid a picnic of women and children and kidnap them along with Gwen Pendragon, the ranchers band together for an armed confrontation.
