When mechanical problems strand the Commandos on the ocean planet Elaine of Avalon, the unit struggles to get their ship airborne again. As the commandos grapple with an escalating conspiracy, the planet itself seems set against them. The monsters of Elaine’s deeps swirl to the surface, barracands with teeth the size of sabers and the even more enigmatic leviathans, all of them ravenous and waiting for the slightest mistake.
