Diana Louise Webb

Diana Louise Webb, who has a Juris Doctorate degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, is a survivor of 12+ unjust years in federal prison, and a tenacious victor, having successfully navigated a life-threatening disease. She also is the daughter of a German child survivor of East Prussia, who fled the Soviet occupation during the evacuations of 1944. Her experience with adversity has made her even more resilient, a living testament to the cliché: “What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.”

Author of the Five-Time National Award-Winning Book, The Butterfly Cometh, the book she wrote after her 12.5-year prison term and having experiencing a medical miracle in 2002. The Butterfly Cometh is an intense, thought-provoking work about the realities of life. An educator, tutor, motivational speaker, and freelance writer, Diana’s voice comes from a place of profound loss and resilience: she lost her best friend to suicide, and her ex-boyfriend, currently incarcerated, attempted to murder her. She currently lives in a modest home in rural Missouri, where she gardens and shares quality time with her mother.
